Summary

Raipur serves as a hub for work in central India, with 3 congregations meeting in Christian homes. A new government office complex, "New Raipur," is being developed, and a prayer was made for a foothold to work and serve. The prayer was answered, and with help from Bro. Jeffrey Skinner, a lot was purchased and the Jeffrey Skinner Scripture Learning Centre was built. The building now houses the Godson Angelin Academy, Martha Home orphanage, church meeting place, and scripture learning centre. The Martha Home, supported by the World Bible Mission, cares for 55 children, and the school has 155 students. A playground was built with help from Joel & Heather Plake. A Bible college was also started in Raipur, with help from the Plakes and the Brighten Church of Christ, which donates to the college's food and utility bills. The college has been able to send a preacher to Bilai, and baptisms have taken place at the Jeffrey Skinner scripture learning centre.
