Keithley Instruments, Inc. provides a warranty for its hardware and software products. The hardware warranty lasts for one year (three years for certain models), covering defects in materials or workmanship, provided the product is used according to the instructions. Keithley will repair or replace defective hardware at its option. The software warranty also lasts for one year, covering conformance to published specifications, but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Keithley will provide programming services or develop a program change to correct nonconformities. Other hardware and software, such as OEM products, are not covered by this warranty. The warranty does not apply to defects resulting from product modification, misuse, or normal wear. Keithley disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, and limits its liability to the repair or replacement of defective products, excluding economic, incidental, consequential, indirect, special, punitive, or exemplary damages.
