The University Consortium Yamagata's Business Evaluation Committee meeting was held on July 2, 2009, from 15:00 to 16:30 at Yamagata University's office building. The committee members introduced themselves, and then discussed the following topics:
1. The selection of the committee chair, which was given to Yasushi Yamazaki from Yamagata University.
2. The progress and schedule of the Business Evaluation Committee, which was explained by the office and approved by the committee members.
The committee also agreed to conduct a field survey based on examples of self-evaluation by domestic advanced consortia and to create a draft of evaluation items.
Other topics discussed included the importance of reference materials, the need for coordination with the steering committee and the general affairs committee, and the unification of the format for self-evaluation reports.
The next meeting will be held as needed, with a report to be submitted to the steering committee by the end of September.
