The Nursing Education and Training Committee, centered around Ladder I, is responsible for the foundational education period of up to three years. Recent activities include:
- A 3-day rotation training for new nurses in January, where they experienced unfamiliar nursing techniques and observed tests in other wards and outpatient departments.
- The Wakakusa meeting on March 19, where first-year nurses shared their experiences and learned from each other, and also underwent Elder training for their future roles.
- Completion of the 2016 "New Nurse Training Program".
- Preparation for the new fiscal year's new nurse intake is underway.
- The Personal Ladder certification examination has started for Ladder III, with 16 applicants.
Upcoming events include:
- New nurse training starting on April 1
- The Tanpopo meeting on April 16
- The Post-Graduate Research Case Presentation on May 21.
