Summary

The President-Elect of the Oklahoma Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is responsible for acting as the president in the president's absence or incapacity, and has various powers and duties. The President-Elect must be an AFP member in good standing and provides orientation for new Board members, serves on the Committee on Directorship to recruit board members, and acts as liaison with various committees and committee chairs. The President-Elect also serves on the Executive Committee of the Board, transfers records upon resignation, and works in partnership with the President to research and implement tactics to achieve chapter goals. The President-Elect assists the President in managing the Strategic Plan, plans the annual Board Retreat, and attends AFP ICON and National Philanthropy Day events.
