Summary

Many global corporations have set "net-zero" goals to reduce and eliminate their greenhouse gas emissions, with over 1,000 firms having set such targets by 2020. A study examines the carbon reduction plans of seven large firms in different industries, finding substantial variation in specificity and scope due to differences in measuring carbon footprints and recognizing carbon credits.
