Raportti esittelee Helsingin pörssissä noteerattujen yritysten hallitusten, toimitusjohtajien ja johtoryhmäläisten palkitsemista.
Johdon palkkiotasolla on selkeä yhteys yrityksen kokoon, ja suurten yritysten toimitusjohtajien tai johtoryhmän jäsenten kokonaiskompensaatio voi olla moninkertainen small cap -yhtiöiden vastaaviin verrattuna.
Suhde toimitusjohtajan palkkion ja johtoryhmän palkkioiden välillä on kasvanut large ja mid cap -yrityksissä.
Raportissa tarkastellaan myös vastuullisuutta palkitsemisessa, osakkeenomistajien oikeudet -direktiivin mukaisia palkitsemispolitiikoita ja verotuksessa tapahtuneita muutoksia.
Vastuullisuus näkyy yritysten ylimmän johdon palkitsemisessa vielä harvakseltaan, mutta huomiota kiinnitetään siihen yhä enemmän.
Yritykset ovat luoneet joustavan palkitsemispolitiikan, joka antaa raamit palkitsemiselle, mutta liialliset yksityiskohdat on jätetty pois.
Verotuksen näkökulmasta ei ole tapahtunut merkittäviä muutoksia Suomen vero- ja/tai sosiaaliturvalainsäädäntöön listattujen yhtiöiden ylimmän johdon palkitsemiseen liittyen.
