Shropshire and Powys Advanced Riders committee meeting minutes from 21st February 2018:
Attendees included Glyn Jones, Ken Swinton, Tina Kelly, Helen Parker, Bill Croxon, Kevin Fletcher, Mike Kinna, Robin Padgett, and Stuart McMillan.
Apologies were received from Sally McMillan, David Rogers, Michelle Jennings, and Nigel Davies.
Discussions included meeting room options, Risk Assessment form testing, BikerDown course feedback, and accredited FBOS course funding.
The committee agreed all tutors should have current Basic First Aid training and discussed RoSPA Facebook page and website links.
Bill updated the committee on communications with Richard Howes, Regional Coordinator, and the use of the RoSPA brand logo.
The committee decided to forward Richard's newsletters to committee members and discussed Data Protection Policy.
Bill met with Barrie Walters to discuss Raven Riders taking on parking for Bike4Life and the committee agreed not to attend the Llangollen Bike Show.
The secretary had no apologies to report, and the committee discussed RoSPA accreditation scheme and publicity for Wistanstow and Bike4Life events.
