ICON Project: Selecting External Expert For Networking.pdf

The iCON project, co-financed under the Slovenia-Italy Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013, aims to enhance SME competitiveness through innovation and collaborative entrepreneurship. The project, led by the Development Agency ROD, involves 14 partners (7 from Slovenia, 7 from Italy) and will run until 31 March 2013.

The project has identified priority areas for cross-border cooperation, and all partners are involved in establishing cross-border networks/platforms. ROD is now inviting tenders for an external expert to facilitate these networks. The expert's tasks include:

1. Establishing a pilot cross-border business network/platform:
- Familiarizing with project iCON documents
- Updating the 'Participants List' document
- Holding meetings with potential network members
- Developing an activity plan and motivating network members
- Assisting in organizing workshops and preparing foundational documents for the network's operation

2. Supporting partners in establishing cross-border business networks/platforms:
- Providing support to network leaders

The deadline for task 1 is 31 January 2012, while task 2 will be carried out until the project's end. The expert's selection will be based on their experience in networking, knowledge of Slovenian, Italian, and English, familiarity with the cross-border economic environment, and experience in coaching network leaders. The expert must submit their CV, references, and a proposal (using the attached 'PROPOSAL' form or a self-prepared form) in English or Slovenian by 9 December 2011, 12:00 PM, to the Development Agency ROD in Ajdovščina. Only complete proposals received by the deadline will be considered. The tender will be opened on 9 December 2011 at 1:00 PM.
