Membership Changes 2018
Fifteen new members were elected to the Club at the January Election Meeting held in Howth Yacht Club. The Annual General Meeting was held on February 16th at the National Yacht Club, with 100 attendees for the meeting and 130 members and guests served an excellent dinner after the prize giving. A resolution was passed for two rule changes: firstly, annual subscription should be set in Euros and the Committee to determine the exchange rate from Euro to Sterling at the October Committee meeting; secondly, to amend Rule 13(iv) to ensure subscription payment is made by direct debit. At the October Committee Meeting, it was agreed that the Euro subscription should remain at current levels and to reflect the current exchange rate the Sterling subscription would increase to £70. The Subscriptions Treasurer will notify the 142 members who have not signed a Direct Debit mandate that they must do so for their 2019 subscription.
