RAMBLERS SCOTLAND STRATEGIC COMMITTEE meeting held on 07 February 2023:

The Committee approved the minute from the November 2022 meeting and discussed matters arising, including the Memorandum of Understanding document.
The Director provided an update on the Board of Trustee meeting, discussing the new strategy development.
The Committee noted the finance update, including the general accounts report and examined accounts for 2021/2022.
The Director highlighted recent successes, including the Parliamentary event and the Walk Leadership project.
The Committee discussed membership, including digital marketing and long-term membership sustainability.
An update was provided on Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion work.
The Committee reported on Area AGM's and approved amendments to the North Strathclyde Area Committee's Constitution.
Updates were provided on the Scottish Council, Dick Balharry Memorial Talk, and Working Groups, including the Search Committee and Gathering Committee.
Concerns were noted around the closure of pedestrian bridges by Network Rail in the Perth and Kinross Council area.
