- Guest Comments: Lauren Koelliker suggested having a town of Mt. Crested Butte representative on the TAPP Board. Kurt Giesselman agreed and asked Lauren to forward potential candidates' information.
- 2020 Recap/Winter Outlook: John Norton reported a 10% increase in 2020 collections compared to last year, outperforming sister cities. Last-minute bookings have increased significantly, making Destimetrics' outlook less reliable.
- Budget: John Norton announced plans to request additional funding in March for place-making projects in Gunnison County, following a successful year despite a reduced budget request.
- Air Report: Jeff Moffett reported a 12% increase in airline visits since mid-November, with seat numbers up 42% from June to November. The RTA is applying for a grant to secure a DFW flight.
- Arrivalist News: Jeff Moffett shared that Arrivalist now provides demographic data, allowing TAPP to better understand their audience and target marketing efforts.
- Data Works in Progress: Jeff Moffett discussed ongoing data collection efforts, including second homeowner data, short-term rental inventory, local travel use data, and September 2020 lodging data.
- Spring Marketing Plans: Andrew Sandstrom outlined plans to promote Hartmans as a shoulder season destination starting March 15th, targeting mountain town ski communities. Traditional summer marketing will begin in late April/early May.
- Born From Junk Update: Andrew Sandstrom shared that the film has been accepted into numerous film festivals and plans are underway to capitalize on its success. Part two of the film is in production.
