Summary

The Acquerello Batik course will explore the key features of batik-inspired watercolor style and teach basic techniques for creating works on paper using a wet-on-wet method. Participants will learn various masking methods, receive models, and have the opportunity to develop subjects independently. The course is suitable for beginners with no prior experience.

Materials required include plastic cover for work surface, large and small round-tip watercolor brushes (sizes 2 or 3 and 6 or 8), at least 50% cotton medium or fine-grain A4 watercolor paper (300 gr), a wooden or cardboard board to fix sheets measuring 30x40 cm, masking tape, masking liquid, white wax pastels, and toothpicks.

The course is limited to a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 8 participants. It is organized by Associazione Mutar, consisting of five weekly sessions on Mondays from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with dates in October 23, November 6 and 20, and December 4 and 18.
