Materials:

1 kit Urth Uneek Sock (75% merino, 25% nylon, 2 skeins, 50g each)

Size:

Women's S, M, L: 7 (8, 9)" / 17.75 (20.25, 22.75) cm foot length
US shoe size: S (4-6.5), M (7-9.5), L (10-12.5)
Total length: 22 (20, 18)" / 56 (51, 45.75) cm from toe to top of cuff

Needles:

US 1 / 2.25 mm 9" circular needle or 4-5 DPNs
US 0 / 2 mm 9" circular needle or 4-5 DPNs for narrower 2x2 rib cuff (optional)

Gauge:

US 1 / 2.25 mm: 34 sts x 44 rounds = 4" / 10 cm in stockinette stitch
US 0 / 2 mm: 40 sts x 44 rounds = 4" / 10 cm in 2x2 rib stitch (if desired)

Pattern:

1. 2x2 Rib Cuff: CO 64 (68, 72) sts, work in the round until 3.5" / 9 cm from start.
2. Leg: Knit in the round until 12 (9, 6)" / 30.5 (23, 15) cm from start of leg section.
3. Short Row Heel Flap: Work flat over 32 (34, 36) sole sts, until heel flap measures 2" / 5 cm.
4. Turn Heel: Divide sts on three DPNs, work rows to turn heel.
5. Foot: Knit in the round, picking up sts on either side of heel flap, until 5.5 (6.5, 7.5)" / 14 (16.5, 19) cm from end of heel flap.
6. Toe: Divide work on two DPNs, work decrease rounds until 8 (12, 16) sts remain on each needle, then use Kitchener Stitch to close toe.

Finishing:

* Weave in ends using tapestry needle.
