COURSE DESCRIPTION: Study of research methods and techniques applicable to problem solving in marketing
COURSE OBJECTIVES AND OUTCOMES: Demonstrate awareness of marketing research, express knowledge of research design, display understanding of data collection and analysis
COURSE REQUIREMENTS AND EVALUATION: Regular Exams (75 points), Homework Assignments (15 points), Class Participation/Professional Behavior (10 points)
GRADING SCALE: A = 90 – 100% B=80-89% C=70-79% D=60-69% F=59% and below
CLASSROOM DECORUM AND BEHAVIOR: Disruptive behavior not tolerated, penalties apply
EXAMS: Three exams, combination of multiple choice and short answer/problem solving, no makeup exams
HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS: Five assignments, use of SPSS statistical program, work must be individual
ACADEMIC HONESTY: Academic dishonesty not tolerated, results in grade of “F” and additional sanctions
