Greenville Central School District (GCS) enhanced awareness about autism among its community by celebrating National Autism Awareness Month in April. The district provided ribbons, buttons, and pencils to faculty, staff, and students, and hosted an informational table with materials about autism. GCS also encouraged parents to talk to their children about autism and other disabilities. The school's production of Oklahoma won first place in the Schenectady Light Opera Company's High School Awards program, with nine cast members nominated for Outstanding Performer.
