Dear Parents and Carers,

As we complete our third week, routines have formed and the children continue to show how sensible and resilient they are to change. Teachers have shared Meet the Teacher slides and learning web focuses for the term ahead, and further documents have been added to Google classroom to support learning from home.

Children are expected to read at least 3 times a week, and parents are asked to comment in their reading records to help monitor this process. Morning snacks have been a topic of discussion, and parents are reminded to choose snacks carefully, avoiding sweets, chocolate, and crisps.

Attendance is important for a child's success and happiness at school, and parents are asked to support the school by ensuring regular attendance. A letter from Alison Jeffery, Director of Children's Services, is available to read.

Upcoming events include a Macmillan Coffee Morning hosted by Year 6 children, and a summer fair organized by Friends. The school has also received a donation of plants from Cade Street Nursery for Forest School and Gardening club.

The 'Star of the week' certificates have been awarded to several students, and the school hopes everyone has a lovely weekend.
