Summary

Der Studienqualitätsmonitor 2007 ist eine repräsentative Befragung von knapp 22.000 Studierenden an 150 Hochschulen. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die organisatorischen Rahmenbedingungen an Fachhochschulen besser sind als an Universitäten, insbesondere im Lehramtsstudium. Die fachliche Qualität der Hochschulausbildung wird als sehr gut bewertet, die didaktische Qualität jedoch schlechter. Die Studierenden fordern mehr Praxisbezug, der an Fachhochschulen besser umgesetzt ist als an Universitäten. Die Betreuungsangebote für Erstsemester werden als unzureichend bewertet. Die Studierenden erwarten von ihren Lehrern Engagement, Feedback und gute Prüfungsvorbereitung. Insgesamt zeigt der Studienqualitätsmonitor 2007, dass es noch viel zu verbessern gibt, um die Studienbedingungen in Deutschland zu optimieren.
