Summary

I. Mandatory Payment:
- All graduands must pay as follows:
- First Degree: ₦20,000
- Masters (PGD, M.Phil.): ₦25,000
- Doctorate: ₦25,000 (no additional fee for PHD)

II. Purchase/Hiring of Academic Outfit:
- Gown, hood, and cap can be either purchased or hired:
- Outright Purchase: ₦20,000 (First Degree), ₦45,000 (Doctorate)
- Hiring: ₦10,000 (First Degree & Masters), no hiring fee for Doctorate
- Academic outfits are available at the College of Medicine, School of Postgraduate Studies, Faculties, and Distance Learning Institute.

III. Return of Academic Outfit:
- All academic outfits must be returned by Thursday, February 3, 2022.
- Failure to return will result in paying the outright purchase cost (₦20,000) before clearance is issued.

IV. Collection of Certificate:
- Graduands are expected to collect their certificates within three months after convocation.
- Late collection will incur a demurrage fee of ₦50 per day.

Procedure for Payments:
1. Visit the University website (www.unilag.edu.ng).
2. Access the Unilag payment portal under "Student Category."
3. Complete the form and generate an RRR.
4. Proceed to any bank of choice to make the appropriate payment.
5. Keep copies of the bank teller and payment advice for verification at the College of Medicine, School of Postgraduate Studies, Faculties, or Distance Learning Institute.
