Summary

Die deutsche Bevölkerung ist unterschiedlich digital kompetent, wobei es teilweise erhebliche Unterschiede in den Kompetenzfeldern gibt. Bei kommunikativen Aspekten sind die Bürgerinnen und Bürger am kompetentesten, während im Kompetenzfeld Gestalten und Erzeugen digitaler Inhalte Wissen und Fertigkeiten geringer ausgeprägt sind. Es gibt Nachholbedarf, insbesondere bei Seniorinnen und Senioren sowie Menschen mit niedrigerem Bildungsabschluss. Die digitale Kompetenzbildung muss weiter gestärkt werden, um die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit des Landes zu sichern.
