Doctoral Course Registration and Subjects

General Course
The General Course is designed to help students acquire research skills through studying Common Core Subjects and Specialized Subjects. The course requires 30 credits to complete, including 4 credits of "Lecture/Research Projects" and 8 credits of "Research Projects and Practices" in the student's department, as well as 4 credits or more of "Lecture/Research Projects" from other departments or Elective Programs.

Registration Planning
Students must discuss and receive guidance from their department supervisor regarding the subjects they plan to take and how to create a "Study Planning Sheet". The sheet must be submitted to the Administration Office before the specified due date.

Registration Method
The total number of credits required to complete the course is 30 credits. Students must take the Common Core Subjects as illustrated in the table below. As for the Specialized Subjects, students must take 4 credits of "Lecture/Research Projects" and 8 credits of "Research Projects and Practices" in their department, and 4 credits or more of "Lecture/Research Projects" from other departments or Elective Programs.

Clinical Specialist Course (Medicine)
The Clinical Specialist Course is designed to help students acquire high clinical skills and ability to understand and conduct clinical studies. The course requires students to study patient diagnosis, to be able to conduct it from a holistic perspective, and to conduct clinical research ability from an international perspective. Students must take as Common Core Subjects "Introduction to Medical Epidemiology", "Biostatistics", and "Practical Course in Clinical Research and Epidemiology" together with Specialized Subjects.
