Summary

This study applies the Activity-Based Costing (ABC) system to calculate educational costs for D3 and S1 nursing programs at STIKES Hang Tuah Surabaya in the 2009-2010 academic year. The research uses a qualitative approach with a single case study, collecting primary and secondary data through observation and interviews. The results show that the ABC method provides a more accurate calculation of educational costs, with a decrease in costs for regular D3 and S1 programs and an increase for non-regular programs compared to traditional methods. The study concludes that the ABC method can be used as an alternative for calculating educational costs at STIKES Hang Tuah Surabaya.
