Summary

The study investigates the significant factors that influence the choice of project scope management practices in telecommunication companies in Somaliland. A questionnaire survey was conducted among 75 stakeholders, including top managers, project managers, and consultants from three telecommunication giants. The results show that the three most significant factors influencing the choice of project scope management are: effectiveness of technology, government policies, and the need to implement a contingency plan due to accounted risks. The study provides recommendations for future application of scope management in the telecommunication industry.
