Summary

a) la struttura fattoriale dell’intelligenza valutata attraverso la WISC-IV può essere considerata sovrapponibile a quella dei bambini a sviluppo tipico, ma presenta elementi di specificità;
b) i DSA presentano un profilo tipico con ICV e IRP superiori a IML e IVE;
c) la discrepanza può essere utilizzata come supporto alla diagnosi;
d) una descrizione dell’intelligenza in termini di punti di forza e di debolezza e un riferimento allo IAG come indice generale possono essere particolarmente appropriati;
e) la proporzione di DSA con QI > 130 è maggiore se si considera l’IAG;
f) la debolezza dei bambini con dislessia in memoria di lavoro riguarda maggiormente lo Span in Avanti;
g) le diagnosi ICD-10 prevalenti sono DSA misti e disturbo di lettura;
h) i sottogruppi presentano molte somiglianze, ma anche alcune specificità;
i) all’interno della popolazione con DSA si possono rinvenire sottogruppi con discrepanza fra QI verbale e non verbale;
j) un modello bifattoriale conferma un predominio dei fattori specifici rispetto al fattore g.
