Summary

The EnviroNaut project partners designed a questionnaire to identify environmental challenges in the maritime tourism sector, and conducted interviews with local networks, including marinas, boat maintenance companies, and diving schools. The results of the questionnaire were presented and discussed at the second partner meeting in Athens, where the initial structure of the Environmental Officer training program was created. The full content of the program was presented during an online workshop, and the project is now underway. The EnviroNaut project also participated in conferences, including "The Green Connections of the Blue Waters" and Ocean Training 2023, and was present at the Boot Düsseldorf 2023 fair. The project's next steps include further development and evaluation of the training program, and interested parties are invited to get involved.
