Summary

The ETSN Youth Platform was established in 2016, with the first youth meeting, "Summit", taking place in March 2016, where the Charter on the rights of gifted students was drawn up. The platform's goals and organizational structure were integrated into the ETSN Articles, and the first elected Youth Platform Council met in October 2016. The council has since organized meetings in Budapest, Dublin, and Dubrovnik, gaining experience and identifying challenges, such as differing national legislations and the need for separate organization from ECHA conferences. To address these challenges, the council compiled guidelines for organizing the Summit, including separate organization, fixed timing, rotation of hosting Talent Centres, and open participation for members aged 14-30. The guidelines also cover program content, advertisement, registration, and logistical arrangements.
