The Adventist Global Mission curricular unit for grades 7-12 aims to create awareness and involvement in global mission among students. The unit is divided into four parts: Goals and Objectives, Methods, Materials, and Resources.

Key objectives of the Global Mission include establishing a Seventh-day Adventist presence in population sectors where none exists and enlarging the Adventist presence where it currently has established denominational work. The Global Mission Committee has identified approximately 2,000 population segments of at least one million people each where there is no Adventist presence.

To motivate youth for Global Mission, educators can provide a challenge, set an example, and get involved themselves in Global Mission. Suggestions for involvement include sponsoring a child through a childcare agency, volunteering for short-term mission service, and adopting a particular unreached population segment to study and pray for.

The curricular unit includes various activities, such as presentation ideas for teachers, student awareness and outreach activities, skits and plays, quizzes, puzzles, and games, and background materials. Resources available for educators include books, magazines, films, posters, and cards, as well as organizations that provide information and support for Global Mission.

By participating in the Adventist Global Mission curricular unit, students can develop a sense of global mission and become involved in outreach and penetration efforts. Educators can play a crucial role in fostering awareness and involvement in Global Mission among their students, and the unit provides a range of ideas and resources to support this effort.
