Summary

La sociedad actual demanda a las instituciones de educación superior una formación de sus estudiantes en el rubro de los valores universitarios. La Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL) tiene como fin divulgar los valores y promover su aplicación en la acción. El estudio evalúa cuantitativamente el conocimiento y el grado de importancia que tienen los estudiantes sobre los valores que promueve la Universidad, destinados a transformar su formación integral y profesional. Los valores universitarios reflejan los valores que el Estado incluye a la educación superior y están en lineamientos jurídicos y legales. Se identifican tres grupos de valores: científicos, profesionales y cívicos. El estudio busca evaluar el conocimiento y la importancia que los estudiantes otorgan a estos valores.
