The first half term has passed, and the children, especially the new Nursery and Reception classes, have settled in well. The next half term is expected to be busy, with key dates listed in the newsletter. The school said farewell to Mrs. Longmore and Mrs. Williamson, and welcomed new staff members. The Reading Rocket Challenge is ongoing, with the current challenge ending on October 27th and a new one starting on November 4th. The school is also participating in the Times Tables Rock Stars program, which has been well-received by the children. The Head Boy and Head Girl represented the school at the Local Democracy Week event, where they discussed making walking to school safer. The school is planning to patrol the area outside the school and issue "tickets" to parents who park dangerously. The different year groups have been engaged in various activities, including learning about themselves, Autumn, and various subjects such as Maths, English, and Science. The school is also launching the Children's University initiative, which aims to celebrate the children's participation in after-school clubs and activities.
