Summary

American Legion Auxiliary Junior members can participate in the Patch Program, serving communities, veterans, and learning about patriotism, health, fitness, and leadership. The program has three levels: Red (K-3rd grade), Gold (4th-8th grade), and Blue (9th-12th grade or 18 years old). Juniors earn patches by completing activities, which are verified by an adult or Senior member. Patches are mailed to Department Junior Activities Chairmen for distribution. Additional patch sheets are available at www.ALAforVeterans.org. A special Junior patch is available for raising money for the National President's Scholarship Fund, with a minimum fundraising requirement of $5 per year of age. Various patches, such as Americanism, Community Service, and others, have specific requirements and activities to be completed.
