The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) has released The Condition of Education 2019, a congressionally mandated annual report summarizing the latest data on education in the United States. The report finds significant differences in postsecondary enrollment and outcomes based on socioeconomic status, with the highest socioeconomic status students having a 50 percentage point higher enrollment rate than the lowest socioeconomic status students.
