Types of Ownership:

Sole (S): Property owned by one individual; passes to heirs according to will or state law upon death.
Joint Tenancy with Rights of Survivorship (JTRS): Property owned jointly by two or more people; share automatically transfers to surviving tenant(s) upon death.
* Tenancy in Common (TC): Property owned by two or more tenants in equal or unequal shares; share passes to deceased's heirs according to will or state law.
