Dear Parents and Carers,

We hope all our families who celebrated Eid this week have had a lovely time celebrating. The children who celebrate this festival did a fantastic job of sharing their experiences with the rest of the school.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Open House at the end of last term. The year 3 children did a fantastic job sharing their art work for their fab finish.

The school will be affected by teacher strikes on Tuesday 2nd May, with Y2 Clover, Y2 Willow and Y3 Honeysuckle classes closed.

The school will celebrate the King’s coronation with a picnic lunch on Friday 5th May, which will be provided for all children.

The nursery session times will be adjusted for the coronation lunch, with morning nursery children invited to stay until 12:15pm and afternoon nursery children invited to come to school at 11:30am.

The school raised £2200 for Project Gambia, which will be used to buy bikes, school uniforms, and other equipment for children in Gambia.

Please remember that the school is a non-smoking site, and vaping is strictly not permitted.

The PTA is promoting the Bag 2 School initiative, which helps raise money for the school by collecting unwanted clothing and accessories.

The school is proud of the children who were in the Gold Book last week, and congratulates them on their achievements.

A Blue Kite Trust Art Exhibition is currently on display at the North Swindon Library, featuring work from children in every year group.
