Our Lady of the Southern Cross College provides a 1 to 1 program issuing a HP EliteBook X360 830 G9 Notebook to each student in years 7 to 12, operating on a 3-year cycle. The device remains the responsibility of the student until the end of the year. The program includes a 3-year warranty, education care product with accidental damage cover, software, and ongoing training and support. Students and parents are responsible for the overall care of the device, and the college retains full ownership. The laptop levy cost is determined annually, and students must always carry their device in a protective case and report any damage or loss immediately. Repairs are arranged by the college, and a $55 administration service fee is charged for accidental damage claims. Students can save data on their college OneDrive account and are not permitted to install other applications or software onto the device.
