Happy New Year. This year, we hope children will eat a lot and grow up healthy.

How to hold chopsticks:
1. Hold the top chopstick like a pencil.
2. Support the bottom chopstick with your ring finger and thumb.
3. Put your middle finger between the chopsticks.
4. Align the tips of the chopsticks.

January's food education goals:
- Megumi group: Sit up straight and eat independently.
- Tsubomi group: Enjoy finishing meals and reduce food waste.
- Doremie group: Eat happily and willingly.
- Ayumi group: Finish meals within the time limit and use utensils.
- Nozomi group: Chew well and eat neatly.
- Hikari group: Enjoy meals while being mindful of time and manners.

On January 11th, we will make traditional Okinawan mochi.
