Mid-term has arrived, Junior Certificate results are out, and students are settling into their respective classes. The year head welcomes new students and parents, and reminds them of important school policies, including absent notes, sign-in and sign-out procedures, school uniform, and mobile phone policy.

TY Trip to Killary Harbour: The Transition Year classes went on an activity trip to the Killary Adventure and Activity Centre, where they participated in outdoor activities, team building exercises, and enjoyed delicious food.

TY Dance Workshop: The TY classes participated in a dance workshop, where they learned new dance moves and created their own routines.

Junior Cert Results: Congratulations to the students who did well in the Junior Cycle exams.

Homework and Study: Senior students are expected to focus on their schoolwork, complete homework, and engage in active learning. Study guidelines and additional supports are available on the school website.

Other News: The TY students will attend talks courtesy of the Shannon Chamber of Commerce, and are helping to run a 1st Year Hurling League. The LC1, LCA, and TY groups are participating in school music preparation, Gaelic football, soccer, camogie, and extra-curricular activities.

Careers Trip to UL: The LC1 students traveled to UL for the IGC Midwest Careers Fair, where they gathered information about colleges, organizations, and career paths.

LCA Science Class: The LCA group carried out food tests in the lab room, showing great spirits and engagement.
