Summary

Breamore CE VC Primary School provides an inclusive education for all pupils, respecting their different educational and behavioural needs, and offering various teaching approaches. Parents can raise concerns by contacting their child's class teacher, who is responsible for ensuring access to high-quality teaching, identifying and managing additional help, and liaising with the SENDCO. The SENDCO, Miss Sarah Newman, coordinates support for children with SEND, develops the school's SEND policy, and ensures parents are involved in their child's learning and progress. Other staff, including the Interim Executive Headteacher and SEND Governor, also play roles in supporting children with SEND. The school identifies four areas of special educational need: communication and interaction, cognition and learning, social, emotional and mental health, and sensory and/or physical needs. If concerns arise, the school will contact parents to discuss strategies and interventions, and may invite them to meetings to plan provision and review progress.
