Richmond Heights Local Schools received two Teacher Innovation Grants from the ESC of Cuyahoga County, totaling $1,500. The first grant was used to purchase 15 Amazon Fire tablets to incorporate technology into the classroom, aiming to increase student achievement. The second grant was used to purchase a digital recording device, green screen unit, microphone, and video lighting to create quarterly and monthly news broadcasts, promoting school pride and modern digital skills.

The ESC of Cuyahoga County also hosted various events, including the 17th Annual Summer and Beyond Fair for families of students with disabilities, a leadership workshop for high school students, and a public speaking workshop. Additionally, the Rose-Mary Center School added new swings to its playground, and students from Independence Primary School created a Snowflake Garden to raise awareness about autism.

The ESC of Cuyahoga County's Vision Eight community meeting was attended by 65 business and educational leaders, discussing the needs of local businesses and the career center's program offerings. The ESC also collaborated with other organizations to host workshops, such as the Beck Center for the Arts workshops, which focused on creating peaceful solutions through the arts, and the Annual GPS Workshop at Chagrin Reservation, where students learned about handheld GPS units and triangulation.
