The service certificate must be uploaded to Antagning.se along with other necessary documents when applying online to VAL. Upload one certificate per employment; it can cover both current and past positions. All fields must be filled in. Note: Applicants to Gothenburg University should send the certificate by post.

Job Description:
Detail job responsibilities in time intervals and percentage scope. Specify grade levels, subjects taught, and extent of instruction per subject. Ensure it covers class teaching from Grade 1 upwards.

Examples:
1. "Ht 2017 – vt 2019, employed as an unqualified teacher for grades 7–9, 100% service split between English (50%) and Swedish (50%). From ht 2019, 80% service divided into Swedish (40%), English (~20%), and Mathematics (~20%)."
2. "Vt 2009 – vt 2012, employed in preschool class 100%. Ht 2012 onwards, unqualified teacher for grades 1 and 2, teaching Swedish, Mathematics, SO, and English in a class of 80%. Resource for other duties 20%."

Specify any leaves such as parental leave with dates and percentage coverage.
