The goal is to equip students with skills to succeed as consumers, citizens, and workers in the 21st century by providing equitable access to technology and meeting state academic standards.

Strategy:

Integrate technologies in K-12 curriculums using Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS)
Use technology to write, process information, prepare presentations, solve problems, and communicate worldwide
Proficiently use basic software applications (keyboarding, word processing, spreadsheet, database, graphs, and presentation)
Utilize Learning.com, G Suite, Imagine Learning, Think Through Math, iStation, Edgenuity, MobyMax, Measures of Academic Progress (MAP), Study Island, STEMScopes, and Renaissance as supplemental curriculum components

Mastered by the end of 8th grade
Separated into categories and divided by grade level
Teachers responsible for providing opportunities for students to learn and use technology skills necessary for each grade level
