This technical report provides reliability and validity evidence for the easyCBM Reading measures for grade 2, including word and passage reading fluency and multiple choice reading comprehension. The report found moderate internal consistency, split-half reliability, and reliability of growth slopes. Concurrent and predictive validities showed that multiple choice reading comprehension was a better predictor of SAT-10 scores than word or passage reading fluency. Construct validity was supported by strong model fit indices, and overall predictive validity coefficients were positive but low.
