Summary

The Indiana Junior Classical League delegation, consisting of 27 members, attended the National Junior Classical League Convention at the University of California-Davis, where they achieved various awards and recognitions. Angela Roberts from Crown Point won first place in Olympika, and Jeremy Walker was re-elected to the national committee. The state also placed first in the publicity contest, and the state t-shirt designed by Josh Glass finished fourth overall. The state publication finished third in the nation, and the state scrapbook compiled by Keara Seibert finished fifth. Indiana delegates also excelled in various events, including track and field, swimming, and academic competitions. The 2010 National Junior Classical League Convention will be held in North Dakota, and preliminary plans are underway for a state trip by bus. The 2010 Indiana Junior Classical League Convention will be held at Indiana University in Bloomington on March 12-13.
