Dear Parent/Carers,

As we approach the end of another busy week, I would like to share my thanks once again to all members of the school community for your support and encouragement as we navigate ourselves through these challenging times. The sense of collaboration between all stakeholders in school is ensuring the best possible offer for our pupils.

Remote Learning:
- Children do not need to worry if they don’t complete all work set by the class teacher
- Encourage your child to complete as much as possible in the time provided
- Ensure that your child has sufficient breaks away from their remote learning work
- Monitor your child’s use of Microsoft Teams to ensure it is being used appropriately
- Encourage your child not to set up private group chats when using Microsoft Teams

Children:
- All communication should remain within the class teams that have been setup by school
- Any unkind language or communication between pupils will not be tolerated
- Only send messages and queries that are in relation to tasks set by the teacher
- Follow the normal school rules during remote learning lessons

Cancellation of Statutory Testing:
- Year 1 Phonics Screening Check
- Key Stage 1 tests and teacher assessments
- Key Stage 2 tests and teacher assessments

COVID-19:
- Schools are not expected to manage any positive cases involving pupils who are not at school.
- Parents/carers must not send their children to school if:
- They are ill with COVID-19 symptoms
- They have tested positive, even if asymptomatic
- They have been advised to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace
- They live in a household with someone who has tested positive, even if that case is asymptomatic

Internet Access:
- Schools can request free mobile data increases or 4G wireless routers for children who meet certain criteria.
- Please contact school if you feel the above information applies to your current situation at home.

Children of Critical Workers:
- Thank you to all parents/carers who have provided evidence of their critical worker status.
- Children with at least one parent or carer who is a critical worker can go to school or college if required, but parents and carers should keep their children at home if they can.
