2. Target group and learning outcomes:
- Target group: Workers in the mechanics and metalwork field who need knowledge and skills to acquire a welder qualification
- Group size: 8 participants
- Requirements for starting studies: Basic knowledge of metalwork
- Learning outcomes: Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to understand welding technologies, materials, and standards, as well as work safely and efficiently.

3. Volume of the training:
- Total volume: 90 academic hours
- Contact studies: 90 academic hours
- Auditorium work: 46 academic hours
- Practical work: 44 academic hours
- Independent work with feedback from the teacher: 0 academic hours

4. Content and description of the learning environment:
- Theoretical part (46 hours): Covers topics such as metal properties, welding equipment, and safety requirements.
- Practical part (44 hours): Includes hands-on training in welding, quality control, and defect repair.
- Learning environment: Equipped with necessary tools and equipment, including a welding simulator and workshop.

5. Requirements for completing the training:
- All learning outcomes must be achieved.
- Assessment methods: Test of theoretical knowledge and practical work.
- Criteria for assessment: At least 60% correct answers on the test, and satisfactory completion of practical tasks.

6. Teacher information:
- Martti Kivi and Aivar Kalnapenkis are the teachers, both with experience in metalwork and welding.
