The term "utilization of information and basic concepts of reference text" evaluates the student's judgment, to the extent that they take into account or ignore important aspects of the topic addressed in the reference text(s). Students evaluate which of their prior knowledge, empirical data, experiences from their daily life, and contemporary reality they will utilize to position themselves, agree or disagree with the question(s) posed.
Indicative speech production topics:
Utilizing the information (e.g., arguments, ideas, expressions, etc.) from the reference text(s) creatively, as students, develop your views on.... The text should be in the form of an article to be published in your school's magazine (around 350 words).
The columnist supports the position that.... Do you agree or disagree with this position? Support your opinion in a 350-word text, in the form of an online letter to the columnist.
The text presents some problems faced by modern schools. Which of these problems do you consider the most important? Explain your view and propose some indicative solutions, utilizing your student experience. The text should be in the form and tone of a speech at your school (around 350 words).
