The 4th Japanese Language Teacher Training Program for Thai Teachers is now open for applications. The program, which will be held in Japan for approximately 4 weeks, aims to improve the Japanese language skills of Thai teachers. The program is organized by the Thai Ministry of Education and the Japan Foundation, Bangkok.

The program includes Japanese language classes, cultural experiences, and exchange programs. Applicants must be Thai citizens, currently teaching Japanese as a second language at a public secondary school, and have a minimum of 1 year of Japanese teaching experience. They must also pass a Japanese language proficiency test (N3 level) and an interview.

The Japan Foundation will provide accommodation, meals, and transportation fees for the participants during the program. The program will be held from September 27 to October 25, 2019.

Applicants who have previously received the scholarship are not eligible to apply. The application deadline is June 28, 2019.

The program is part of the Asian Cultural Exchange Enhancement Project, which aims to promote cultural exchange between Japan and Asian countries.

The Japan Foundation will cover the following expenses:
- Program participation fees
- Accommodation fees in Bangkok
- Living expenses in Japan (1,620 yen per day, Monday to Friday)
- Transportation fees between Kansai International Airport and the training center
- Japanese language proficiency test (N2 level) fees

Applicants must cover their own transportation fees from Thailand to Japan and back, as well as their living expenses in Japan outside of the program.

The program is open to 14 participants. The selection process will be based on the applicants' Japanese language proficiency, teaching experience, and other criteria.

The Japan Foundation reserves the right to cancel or change the program due to unforeseen circumstances.
