The school observed Human Rights Education Month from November 4 to December 4, during which students learned about human rights through various activities, including a visit to the Manmo Kaitaku Kinenkan museum and a lecture by Watanabe Mitsuko about the life of Kawamura Kaneto. They also learned from ALT Nejat, a Turkish teacher, about his experiences in Japan, including being denied apartment entry due to his foreign nationality and being stopped by police officers. Students reflected on how to treat others with respect and kindness, regardless of their race, ethnicity, or nationality. They also participated in other events, such as the Tenryu Village Cultural Festival, a student council handover ceremony, a roasted sweet potato party, an earthquake simulation drill, and a new student experience program. The school's Hunger Project was recognized by the village for its contributions to the community. Additionally, the school held a career symposium for new students, featuring two alumni who shared their experiences and insights on finding meaningful work.
