The Orland Park Public Library Board of Trustees held a regular meeting on January 19, 2015. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by President Healy. Members present included Julie Craig, Beth Gierach, Nancy Healy, Diane Jennings, and Catherine Morrissey-Lebert. Dan Drew and Denis Ryan were absent. The board approved the December 15, 2014 minutes and heard from public speakers. Treasurer Jennings made a motion to go into Executive Session to discuss litigation and review minutes from prior closed sessions, which was approved. The board returned to regular session and approved the Treasurer's Report for December 2014 and the Accounts Payable Listing. An auditor from McClure Inserra is working on the 2014 audit, and the library received a donation of $6,918.49 from Friendly Atheists, Inc. The library will host a traveling exhibit and has filed its Annual Certification with the Illinois State Library. Maintenance issues, including roof repairs and front door problems, were discussed.
