Lower Milford Township Board of Supervisors met on October 20, 2022. The meeting was convened at 6:39 PM by Chair Donna Wright. The board approved minutes from previous meetings, the treasurer's report, and payment of October 2022 bills. Updates were given on the administrator's report, zoning report, public works report, secretary's report, and ambulance report. The Lower Milford Fire Company reported on a newly purchased pumper truck and grant applications. The Southern Lehigh Library director presented the 2023 library budget. The board accepted a declaration of stormwater management for the Spurlock 1B subdivision and endorsed the approval of the final plan. Under old business, the board revisited over-the-cap payment requests for farm preservation and denied one request. A cost estimate was accepted for a deed of dedication roadway map. The board discussed updating computer network services and reviewed the second draft of the 2023 township budget. Under new business, a resolution was accepted authorizing a stipend for eligible fire company members, and Ian Farrell was appointed as the new alternate sewage enforcement officer. The board discussed holding a Veterans Day event and decided to close the township office at noon to prepare for it.
