The Daviess County Fiscal Court meeting was held on September 21, 2017, with Judge/Executive Al Mattingly and County Commissioners Mike Koger, George Wathen, and Charlie Castlen in attendance. Additionally, the court appointed Angela Thompson to the Owensboro Regional Health Board, re-appointed Gary Hall to the Owensboro Daviess County Drug and Alcohol Steering Committee, and appointed Carl Lewis and Langley Wetzel to various committees. The first reading of an ordinance relating to the Daviess County Road, Bridge, and Street System was presented, and comments were received regarding internet services in the Masonville community and a letter from the Community Dental Clinic. The meeting was adjourned without objection.
